A restrospective on the anthropocene

The smell of soil, rubble and damp, A retrospective on the anthropocene explores future anthropological accounts of the moderns through a mixed media installation framed as a reconstruction of an archaeological dig. The installation room offered up a multisensory space to challenge ethnographic and archival knowledge production, as well as the colonial legacy of the wasteful anthropocene.
